What is the Web Of Trust? The Web of Trust is a system which allows Thawte Freemail personal certificate users to have their identity validated and obtain certificates which carry their name. As you are a Freemail member you will know that you cannot include your name in your certificates once you enroll. Thawte just puts your email address and "Thawte Freemail Member" into the certificate. 

Requirements:
1. You must already have a Personal Certificate 
2. We MUST meet in person. 
3. Bring photocopies of your Identifications. We have to be able to recognize you in the copies, so make sure they are clear. We will need to keep a copy. 
4. You MUST bring a copy of the ID you used when creating your Personal Certificate. 
5. You MUST bring the original of all your IDs that you have copies of. 

Our service:
1. We verify the photocopies of your IDs against the originals, keep one set of copies.
2. We will issue between 10 points based upon type of Identification you present: 
   10 points: Social Security Card             OR
   10 points: Drivers License or State ID card. From MA or neighboring states        OR
   10 points: Passport from USA or Canada 
3. Follow the Web of Trust Rules at all times.
