BACKGROUND:
The
EntreCenter was developed in direct response to the challenges many local
businesses face when looking to grow. They sought help from many different
sources, costing a lot of
time. And they didn’t always get what they needed. The Cape Cod Chamber
of Commerce and Cape & Islands Community Development, Inc. listened to
local businesses and came up with a regional approach to meet their unique
needs. The EntreCenter not only connects businesses to the array of
existing resources from our partners, but also provides free one-on-one
strategic coaching. With a tracking system designed by local
entrepreneur, Philip Leduc, the EntreCenter combines a clearinghouse
referral system with sophisticated tracking that will help our community
measure its support for businesses creating jobs and wealth. Most
